Arrive to Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake, met by our representative, and move to
Colombo or Negombo.
NEGOMBO/TRINCOMALEE
After breakfast, you will embark on the journey to Trincomalee on the way you will visit the following
places.
• Madampe Subrahmanya Temple
• Munneshwaram Temple
Munneshwaram temple is an important Hindu temple that is known as one of the ancient
panchaIswarams dedicated to Shiva in the region. There is a temple complex consisting of five
temples including a Buddhist temple. The central temple is dedicated to Shiva and others are dedicated to Ganesh, Ayyanayake, and Kali.
• Bangadeniya Manawari Temple
Manavari Temple is one of the main Hindu temples linked to the Ramayana. Sri Lanka Yatra and lot of
local & Indian tourists visit this temple annually. There is a direct link between this Manavari Temple and the Ramayana Yatra in Sri Lanka.
This is the first place where the lord Rama installed and prayed
the Shiva lingam after the end of the war with king Ravana.
TRINCOMALEE / SIGIRIYA
Morning visit Shakambari Devi Shakti peetham.
After pooja drive back to hotel post breakfast visit the
following places & then drive to Sigiriya.
Overnight stay Sigirya
• Ravana hot water wells.
It consists of seven hot water wells, each slightly varying in temperature, believed to have therapeutic
abilities to cure sickness disease. This was built by king Ravana for his mother.
• Sri Laxminarayana temple
This largest temple of lord Vishnu in Nilaveli is with awesome architecture.
• Thirukoneshvaran temple
One of the PanchaIshwarams dedicated to the hindu deity Shiva. It was reconstructed in 1903 AD.
• Shankareedevi Shakthi Peetam temple
Shankari Devi Shakti peetha is one of the important Astha Dasha Shakti peeth. Here Sati Devi’s groin
(wife of Lard Shiv) had fallen. In this place, Sati Devi is worshipped as Shankari Devi and Lord Shiva is
worshipped as Trinkoneshwara. Shankari Devi temple is located at Trincomalee in Sri lanka.
• Kali temple
SIGIRIYA / KANDY
After Breakfast proceed to Kandy and you will be visiting following place on the way to Kandy.
• Sigiriya Lion Rock
• Dambulla Golden Buddha temple
This temple is a UNESCO listed World Heritage Site. This is a sacred pilgrimage site for 22 centuries,
this cave monastery with its five sanctuaries and is the largest, best-preserved cave-temple complex
in Sri Lanka.
• Muththumari Amman temple
This is a Hindu temple located at Mathale, which is dedicated to Mariamman, the goddess of rain and
fertility. The current temple was built in 1874, funded by the Nattukkottai Chettiar. This temple is
used by both Hindus and Buddhists.

KANDY / NUWARA ELIYA
Morning post breakfast drive to Nuwaraeliya you will be visiting following place on the way.

• Ramboda Hanuman Temple.
The Chinmaya mission of Sri Lanka has built a temple with Lord Hanuman as the presiding deity.
The temple is on a stunning location that looks out towards part of the Kotmale valley.
According to the legend, this was where the Hanuman searched for Sita in the jungle
There is also a pond named ‘Sita Tear Pond' closeby, which was formed from Sita's tears.
• Gayathripeetam
The Gayathri Peetam was founded by Gayathri Siddhar Sri Murugesu Maharishi.
The Gayathri Cathedral also known as Sri-Lankatheeswarar Temple which is the very first temple dedicated for Goddess Gayathri
Gayathri Siddhar chose this place because it was a spiritual revelation. It is one of
important site of Ramayana Tour of Sri Lanka.
• Sitha Amman Temple
Sri Seethai Amman temple is a unique temple where Seeta Devi spent her days in the prison of Ravanaaprox 5000 years ago.
It is also unique in a way that it is one of the very few temples dedicated to Seeta.

NUWARA ELIYA / KATARAGA
Morning breakfast drive to Katargama and you will be visiting following places on the way.
• Sithadevis Agni pareeksha place.
The Sita Tear Pond never dried up during severe drought even when the adjoining rivers are all dried up.
In this area, there are many large trees that have bright red blooms adding colour to the scenery.
Thede flowers are called Sita flowers. The peculiarity of these flowers is the configuration of the petal’s stamen and pistil’s, which resemble a human figru carrying a bow and is said to represent to
Lord Rama.
These flowers are unipue only to this area and not found anywhere else.
• Subramaniya Sami temple.
• Mahalaxmi temple.
• Murugan temple.
This is a temple complex dedicated to Buddhist guardian deity katharagamadeviyo and Hindu war god murugan.
It is one of the few religious sites in Sri Lanka that is venerated by the Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims and Vedda people.
• Rawana waterfall
KATARAGAMA / BENTOTA
Morning checkout from hotel drive to Bentota and visit following places later get dropped at Airport for onward journey.
• Rumassala sanjeevani drop During the war,both Lord Rama and Lakshmana were hit by powerful arrows, fell unconscious and to
bring them back to life Lord Hanuman was instructed to fetch the lifesaving herbs from Himalaya.
Lord Hanuman went to Himalayas, lifted the whole hill and brought it, as he was not able to identify the lifesaving herbs alone.
It is believed that parts of the hill fell on five places in Sri Lanka,
namely,Rumasala in Galle, Dolu Kanda in Hiripitiya, Ritigala on the HabaranaAnuradapura road, Thallai in mannar and Kachchativu in the north.
